Today has been quite eventful in the studio! We have some new equipment to unbox. But first, I headed to the shops earlier and stumbled upon a Miniso store that stocked these fantastic phone holders perfect for filming videos. While I already had one from my trip to China, it had seen better days and was in desperate need of retirement. So, I picked up a new one to kickstart my TikToks and Instagram reels.

Last night, my long-awaited label printer and compostable packaging bags arrived. I've been meaning to transition to more sustainable packaging options, and these compostable bags from Heaps Good Packaging seem like a step in the right direction. Opening them up, I was impressed by the quality and feel of the compostable material. Plus, they even threw in a cute little pen!

The label printer, a budget-friendly find, also made its debut. Although it took some trial and error to get it running smoothly, I'm excited about the time it'll save me in processing orders. No more handwritten labels and trips to the post office for me!

With packaging sorted, I turned my attention to a new creative project. Inspired by my recent fascination with creating headbands, I've embarked on a 30-day challenge to design and make unique headbands every day. Today's project involved repurposing linen fabric from old bed sheets into hand-painted headbands. It's a small but satisfying endeavour that allows for quick experimentation and creativity.

To document this journey, I've set up my new phone holder tripod, a significant upgrade from my previous one. Sturdy and sleek, it promises to make filming TikToks a breeze.
